Peek into a Honey Bee Hive
Visit a bee yard operated by Toronto Bee Rescue and get some hands-on experience working with honey bees. You will get to open the hive, use the smoker, find the queen bee, spot eggs, and hold a frame of honey - all while learning about honey bees. This experience is 1 hour in length.
During the beekeeping experience, please wear loose fitting light coloured long pants and closed-toe shoes. Covid-19 safety protocols will be followed and a disinfected beekeeping jacket with veil and gloves will be provided.
Children under 3 are free.
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18+) who must also possess a valid ticket for the same date and time.
Although we love dogs ourselves, our resident dog does not, and for the safety of our farm animals, we kindly ask that you leave your dog at home and do not bring them to our farm.
